Service status

The live status page will be at status.renegadedynamics.co.uk.

[TODO: status.renegadedynamics.co.uk is not set up yet; create the status page (Better Stack or Instatus free tier), point the subdomain at it, and connect it to the relay's availability test (website-and-shop-plan.md §2, app-relay-launch-plan.md §1.7)]

What it shows

• The relay at api.renegadedynamics.co.uk: sign-in, sessions, live streaming and talk-back. Checked every minute by the same availability test that pages us.
• The web version at app.renegadedynamics.co.uk.
• This website.
• Planned maintenance, and incident notes while something is being fixed.

If a boat cannot stream

Recording never needs the service; the file on the phone is complete whatever the relay is doing. If the status page says the relay is up and a boat still cannot stream, the usual cause is mobile signal on the water. If the status page says it is down, we already know and are working on it.
